Jackie Kennedy’s Childhood Home

According to Curbed, the renowned Georgian-style mansion, Merrywood, located in McLean, Virginia has hit the market at an asking price of $49.5 million and is being sold by American Online co-founder, Steve Case. This stately manor boasts such denizens as Nancy and Wyatt Dickerson, Gore Vidal, and the famed Jackie Kennedy Onassis. Ms. Onassis spent most of her childhood in this circa 1919 estate that covers several acres of private land right on the banks of the Potomac River. The 23,000 square-foot mansion has thirteen bathrooms, nine bedrooms, an indoor lap pool, tennis court, and a wine cellar to mention a few luxuries. Listed with Sotheby’s International Realty.
