Being involved in the real estate market for roughly 27 years, as both a buyer and seller, I have knowledge of many facets of the business that are not common among the majority. Initially involved in real estate development as a builder, my background has given me an understanding of valuation from an investment perspective.
MKL is currently building some of the most exclusive Modern & Traditional homes in the Hamptons, all in prime locations, from South of the Highway in East Hampton to waterfront in Southampton.  These projects encompass both new construction (including tear-downs) and major renovations, with several new projects having commenced in the Fall.
John McHugh, a Global Real Estate Advisor and Associate Broker with Sotheby’s International Realty, began his real estate career in 2001. An expert in the luxury market, he has represented and sold numerous high-end properties throughout the Hamptons, including several notable oceanfront listings. HRES got the chance to sit down with John for a brief Q & A.
