Well, elite New York boite, Eleven Madison Park – affectionately known as EMP – which opened a pop-up in East Hampton last summer to much fanfare, will be returning this season to the former house on Pantigo Road that has hosted many an eatery in its day.
While last year the highly regarded restaurant closed its Manhattan doors for renovations and needed a place to keep up with the ka-ching, this year the owners simply want to repeat their premier excursion’s raging success. We heard that a very high-profile couple called in the moment the reservation line opened last spring and was still relegated to an August table at 10 PM. So, we recommend getting out your iPhone at the crack of midnight on May 1 when the reservation line opens. Make sure you have an American Express card handy or you will be out of luck.
We’re not sure about this year’s price tag, but last season the prix fix menu that included lobster rolls and fun in the sun in the form of ping pong in the backyard was a whopping $250. Perhaps Leonardo DiCaprio, who was spotted there last year, will also make a return appearance.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
