Real Housewives of New York star Barbara Kavovit is renting out her Wainscott home for $130,000 a month, according to Bravo and the New York Post. But the most interesting thing about the listing isn’t the fact that it belongs to a reality television star, but rather that the home has allegedly been threatened to be foreclosed on.
According to the Blast, Kavovit owes over $2.48 million on the home. In June, Kavovit told Page Six, “In 2015, I filed for personal bankruptcy protection which has been discharged, and am currently in settlement discussions with Deutsche Bank, with every expectation this will be concluded soon.”
The 6,500-square-foot home includes five bedrooms, five and a half baths, hardwood floors throughout, a large country kitchen, and a master suite with its own private deck. Outside, there’s patio space, a heated gunite pool, and a two-car garage. The Out East listing states that the property is represented by the Giugliano Team at Nest Seekers.
