Fashion Designer Helmut Lang Rumored to List His Hamptons Mansion for $100M?

While it hasn’t been made official yet, multiple reports have been made that fashion designer and artist Helmut Lang is going to be listing his oceanfront Hamptons home for a whopping $100 million.

The address has not been revealed by any sources, but the New York Post reported that the oceanfront compound comprises close to between 4 and 5 acres of land and includes a nearly 9,000-square-foot main house with five beds and seven baths, a guest cottage, and a studio.

The Austrian artist purchased the East Hampton home on Tyson Lane for $15.5 million in 1999, outbidding Jerry Seinfeld for the spread. Seinfeld now lives nearby in Amagansett.

When the property goes up on the market, it will be one of the most expensive listings for sale in the Hamptons, beat only by the 14-acre compound on Meadow Lane in Southampton that’s available for $150 million.
