Hamptons Real Estate Roundup

The Historic Normandy House in Southampton is in Contract

The iconic Normandy House at 412 First Neck Lane in Southampton has gone into contract after nearly three years on the market. Originally listed with an adjacent empty lot, the entire compound was once asking $65 million. The empty lot at 408 First Neck Lane sold last summer, last asking $15 million. The Normandy House itself at the 412 address was once asking as high as $48 million on its own, then cut its asking price several times over the next few years. It was most recently on the market for $24.9 million, but we won’t know the final sales price until the deal closes. The historic waterfront estate spans 8,000 square feet in size set on just over an acre of land. Interiors include nine bedrooms, eight and a half baths, indoor-outdoor living space, water views, a copper fireplace, and floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that open to the exterior. Outside, there are bluestone terraces, a heated saltwater pool, a tennis court, an outdoor kitchen, a two-car garage, and 152 feet of direct water frontage. The house is repped by Harald and Bruce Grant from Sotheby’s International Realty, and Tim Davis from Corcoran. [Sotheby’s, Corcoran, Behind the Hedges]

Sag Harbor Compound Spanning Nearly 4 Acres Is Yours For $10.5M

Sited on nearly 4 acres of land at the northern end of North Haven, this Sag Harbor compound could be your Hamptons retreat for the whole family for $10.5 million. The 3.6-acre property includes a 5,000-square-foot main house with five beds, five baths, and staff quarters as well as a 3,000-square-foot, five-bed, four-bath guest house with a private gunite pool and spa. The property is technically waterfront, but it’s on a small creek that leads into Genet Creek. Located in the North Haven Point community, residents will have access to private bay beaches and tennis courts, and will be a short drive from Sag Harbor village shops and restaurants. Actress Ellen Pompeo Relists her Hamptons House For Less

Grey’s Anatomy actress Ellen Pompeo has put her Hamptons house in Sag Harbor back on the market, now asking a slightly less expensive $3.5 million, according to the New York Post. Last summer, Pompeo put her farmhouse style retreat on the market for $3,795,000 before removing the listing in January. Located at 1645 Millstone Road, the actress purchased the property back in 2013 for just under $1 million and tore down the existing home before building the current home that’s now on the market. The 2,400-square-foot home offers five bedrooms and four bathrooms between three levels of living space and is sited on over 8 acres of sprawling land. Features include a finished lower level, a second-level master, a beautiful kitchen, two fireplaces, and a screened-in dining porch. Outside, there’s a heated gunite pool and lots of room for tennis or expansion. Corcoran agents Cee Scott Brown and Jack Pearson represent the listing. [Corcoran, New York Post]
