Compass, a technology-driven luxury real estate platform, announces that Team Petrie, led by top broker Ed Petrie, has negotiated the second largest sale in the history of New York State and the fifth largest in the United States.
101 Lily Pond Lane, a beachside property in the coveted enclave of East Hampton, sold for a record $110 million. Spread across 6.4 acres, the sale includes 284 feet of oceanfront, and two homes including a one-story, 4,500 square-foot, five bedroom home.
“We are extremely proud of Ed Petrie and his entire team on closing this historic deal. As a new brokerage in the Hamptons, this deal solidifies Compass’s position as a major force in the luxury space. This is an exciting time for Team Petrie, and all of us here at Compass,” said Robert Reffkin, Founder & CEO, Compass.
Compass opened in the Hamptons just four months ago in Bridgehampton. Since then, the company’s East End presence has grown to include 24 top-producing agents across additional locations in East Hampton, Southampton, and Sag Harbor.
Launched in New York in 2013, Compass began its national expansion last year, opening offices in Washington, D.C., Miami, Boston, the Hamptons, and Los Angeles.
