Ramona Singer, who is still single and ready to mingle but apparently not at her Hamptons house this summer, has put her Southampton home up for rent for the season. The “Real Housewives of New York City” cast member, who recently renovated her Hamptons vacation getaway, is asking roughly just under $150,000 a month for the pleasure of living like a housewife, according to the Out East listing. Represented by Ann Marie Deane and Jennifer Boccagno of Sotheby’s International Realty, the 7,000-square-foot, six-bedroom and five-and-a-half-bath home offers Pheasant Close pond frontage, a heated pool, Har-Tru tennis and a bocce court, all on 1.48 acres. 

Also available is Jill Zarin’s Hamptons estate, “Camp Zarin,” which is rentable for $125,000 for the month of August through Labor Day through Angela Boyer-Stump of Sotheby’s. The 6,000-square-foot Shinnecock Hills home, which the former “Housewife” moved out of at the end of last year, comes with 150 feet of frontage and a cute beachy walkway on Shinnecock Bay. The five-bedroom, seven-bath home sits on 1.25 acres and features a glass-bottomed floating staircase and striking waterfront pool, spa and deck area. Zarin moved out of her Manhattan apartment that she had shared with her now deceased husband, Bobby, in June.

For those who yearn to spend their time like domestic doyenne Martha Stewart, now’s your chance. There’s a new boutique hotel in Bridgehampton, fittingly named A Room at the Beach, and it’s located in a redwood forest planted like the OG homemaking goddess herself—with the help of Charlie Marder—for her daughter, Alexis. The bohemian chic Bridgehampton bungalow-type getaway (which was also owned at one time by fashion designer Donna Karan and her daughter, Gabby Karan de Felice) opened in May and is the brainchild of co-owners Charles Lemonides and Lucy Swift Weber. The couple turned a 10-room cinderblock structure and 1.5 acres into the stuff of twinkle-light-lit dreams. Meant to inspire comfort and serenity, each of the rooms has amenities including Frette linens and robes, Serena & Lily accessories, full-sized Malin & Goetz toiletries, personal Nespresso Makers, and gourmet Mini-Bars featuring an assortment of items from Lemonides-co-owned L & W Market. The grounds and garden feature a redwoods allée, pool and cedar-lined sauna. “We love picturing young go-getters Charlie Marder and Martha Stewart pacing around with Alexis and picking a spot for some Redwoods. Thank you Alexis & Charlie & Martha. We love your trees. And boy do we love the Beach,”say the owners on the mini-hotel’s website. “If those are the things you love, we made something for you: A Room at the Beach.”

BARN CHIC

Just down the street from another Hamptons lady who has famously built an entertaining empire of her own, there’s The Barn on Buell Lane in East Hampton. Furnished and move-in ready, the modern take on a rustic build comprises five structures, four of which are interconnected; 3,500 square feet of living space; a Gunite pool; a pair of fireplaces; and half an acre of landscaped grounds tucked away behind walls of giant arborvitae and a gated drive. Custom built in 2016, the four-bedroom, three-and-a half-bath compound is represented by Timothy O’Connor of Halstead Real Estate. 

PIONEERING ATHLETE-TURNED AUTHOR

The $1.499 million Hampton Bays home of New York Sharks owner and former quarterback Andra Douglas is also for sale. The 1,800-square-foot waterfront abode, listed with Douglas Elliman’s Porto Team, comes with a deep-water dock, lots of water access and two-bedrooms and two baths. A philanthropist, artist and social justice activist, Douglas has recently published the book, “Black and Blue,” about growing up as a non-conforming female in a rural environment. Sports icon Billie Jean King blurbs that the book “will strike a chord with anyone who grew up before title IX but its poignancy and appeal go beyond that.”

THE VERY FIRST DAVINCI HAUS IN THE HAMPTONS

We’ve got exciting news for those who love to live a transparent life. The very first-ever Davinci Haus is being built in the Hamptons. Located on Cuffee Drive in Sag Harbor, the 2,000-square-foot modern masterpiece was designed by architect Bill Chaleff and is sited on a quarter of an acre with views of Sag Harbor Bay. Bess Freedman has been appointed as the first-ever CEO of Brown Harris Stevens, the luxury residential real estate firm with an established legacy dating back to 1873. In her new role, Bess will oversee the firm’s key luxury markets of New York City, The Hamptons, Palm Beach and Miami. Bess joined Brown Harris Stevens in 2013 as Executive Senior Vice President, Director of Sales and Business. She currently serves as a member of the Real Estate Board of New York’s (REBNY) Residential Listing Service board and was recently elected to the REBNY’s Ethics Committee. 

After a brief stint at another brokerage, agent Joseph Piccinicci has returned to his roots at Coldwell Banker Beau Hulse Realty Group. “There’s no place like home,” says Joe. 

Veteran commercial broker Daniel J. Alesandro has found a home at Halstead in East Hampton. Splitting his time between the Hamptons and the city, Daniel “always has an eye out for properties that he can bring value to as an investor/developer or flipper.” When not working, he enjoys skiing, kite boarding and travelling, and working on his home and landscaping in East Hampton.
