The Skinny on New Hotels in the Palm Beaches
As more and more people flock to the Palm Beaches, more and more hotels are hitting the scene to accommodate all these eager visitors.

Palm House Hotel
Palm Beach island locations don’t get better than Palm House Hotel, opening imminently in a property that has been shuttered for nearly 20 years. The luxurious modern 79-room hotel (which British brand Iconic Luxury Hotels has spent the past three years renovating) sits on Royal Palm Way, mere steps from the Atlantic Ocean and ritzy Worth Avenue. It’s Palm Beach’s first new hotel in four years and highlights include an intimate dining room and bar, pool deck, sprawling suites, and a pink-and-green aesthetic all its own. palmhouse.com

The Singer Oceanfront Resort
A remake of The Hilton Singer Island Resort, a local staple since the late 1980s, The Singer Oceanfront Resort (now a Curio Collection by Hilton hotel) recently underwent a multi-million-dollar renovation and rebrand. In addition to a lobby and guest room refresh, the transformation also saw the introduction of two new dining concepts: beachfront bar Top Shell and Caretta Caretta, Singer Island’s only beachfront restaurant. thesingerresort.com
The Belgrove Hotel
The Belgrove Hotel (a Marriott Autograph Collection hotel) — once planned as Banyan Cay — has been a long time coming, but its multi-million-dollar development by real estate giants Witkoff Group and Access Industries looks to be worth the wait. The hotel brings British Caribbean style to the shores of West Palm Beach’s Lake Mangonia and provides guests resort access to the recently debuted member-only golf course Dutchman’s Pipe, an esteemed Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course with something for every skill level. marriott.com

Hotel Biba
Everything’s hush-hush around the rebirth of El Cid’s historic Hotel Biba into a private members-only social club and boutique hotel, but rumor has it the reimagined landmark will debut early 2025 with a restaurant helmed by a celebrity chef, French Riviera design sensibilities, and a 42-foot European-style luxury yacht. It’s been a long-awaited revamp for the property, which originally opened as the Mount Vernon Motor Lodge in 1941. hotelbiba.com

The Vineta Hotel
Expected early 2025, The Vineta Hotel is esteemed European hospitality firm Oetker Collection’s first foray into the United States. While most Palm Beachers know the light-pink Mediterranean Revival property as The Chesterfield, the Vineta name is a return to earlier roots: the hotel first debuted as the Lido-Venice in 1926 but was renamed The Vineta soon after — and remained so for the next 50 years. (It served a brief stint as a condo building in the 1980s before emerging as The Chesterfield in 1989.) Paris-based interior designer Tino Zervudachi led a full renovation over the past several years and reduced the room count from 57 to 41, generating more space and fresh amenities. oetkercollection.com

The Seagate
Delray Beach’s favorite seaside luxury hotel re-emerges this month from a multi-million-dollar full-property renovation led by Brooklyn design firm Watts & Dray, the first major upgrade to the property since its 2009 debut. The Seagate’s lobby, pool, event spaces, dining, Beach Club, and all 157 guestrooms and suites received dramatic enhancements including curated coastal art pieces, handmade accent rugs, and Dutch-Caribbean inspired details. In January, the hotel will also open Bourbon Steak by Michelin-starred chef Michael Mina. seagatedelray.com
