[vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern”][vc_column][vc_column_text]For an insider’s peek behind the hedges of your Hamptons neighbors, pick up this new book capturing the essence of South Fork homes.  Published by Vendome and penned by Southampton’s Jennifer Ash Rudick with images by Sag Harbor’s Tria Giovan, Out East: Houses and Gardens of the Hamptons. Featuring more than 25 properties. The tome’s scope goes beyond the usual billionaires’ mansions to illustrate the South Fork’s diverse residences, from oceanfront Shingle-Style estates to rustic farmhouses and converted barns.

“Few areas can lay claim to the fact that almost every American architect of note has worked here,” she writes. And how different they all are. Just consider the wildly disparate oeuvres of Stanford White, Andrew Geller and Peter Marino.

A former editor at Town & Country, and contributing editor of Veranda, Rudick is also the author of Palm Beach Chic. Tria Giovan’s photographs of interiors have appeared in such publications as Coastal Living and House Beautiful.

“For all their variation, these houses and gardens have in common a lack of showiness and vanity,” Rudick concludes.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”normal”][vc_single_image image=”18948″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_separator type=”normal”][vc_single_image image=”18950″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_separator type=”normal”][vc_single_image image=”18951″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_separator type=”normal”][vc_single_image image=”18952″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_column_text]
