Ballerina Sono Osato’s Bridgehampton Home Finds a Buyer

The waterfront home at 236 Quimby Lane in Bridgehampton that belonged to the famed ballerina Sono Osato has just found a buyer and is currently pending a sale.

Osato listed her home for sale in March of 2018 for $39 million, but passed away this past December. She was 99 years old.

The incredible 4-acre parcel of land hosts a 7,200-square-foot home dating back to 1917 that the ballerina purchased back in the ’70s. Both of Osato’s sons, Niko and Tony Elmaleh, hosted their weddings at the estate.

Features include five bedrooms, six full baths, two half-baths, a pool, and a tennis court. The listing claims that the home hasn’t been updated or renovated in recent years, so the new owners are going to have a project on their hands. Outside, there’s about 300 feet of direct water frontage on Sagg Pond.

The house was most recently asking $34 million with Sotheby’s International Realty agent, Deborah Srb.
