LIGHT THE LIGHTHOUSE

The Montauk Historical Society will once again adorn the Lighthouse with thousands of white lights for the holiday season. Gate opens at 4 pm lighting after sunset. The tower climb will be closed. The lights will remain on every night through January 6, 2019. The celebration will include holiday music and caroling. Santa has also promised to make a visit on Sunday, November 25. A celebration of cultural diversity with a fun, family afternoon that includes creative activities centered on the exchange of traditions, ideas, and stories to further advance inclusion, foster respect and ignite interaction within our community. Featured are collaborative workshops led by local visual and performing artists. Golden Eagle Art Supply will offer two free art workshops. There will be a food truck with free empanadas, bi-lingual gallery tour, family scavenger hunt, lobby project hosted by the Teen Arts Council, theater performances and more!
