Goose Creek Gets A Price Cut

The famed Goose Creek estate in Wainscott—which has been rented by multiple celebrities over the years—has just cut another $1 million off its asking price and is now listed for $12,995,000, according to Curbed. In January, the estate went on the market for $15,995,000 and got a $2 million price cut in May.

Most well-known for its incredible 110-seat movie theater, Goose Creek has hosted tenants such as Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, and Beyoncé and Jay-Z—among many others. Geena Davis even got married at the south-of-the-highway property, while Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley once used it as a venue for their daughter’s birthday party.

It was last purchased in 2014 for $10.55 million by talent agent Bryan Bantry and his former business partner, Bob Felner. Built in 1960, the home spans a massive 19,000 square feet with eight bedrooms and 12 bathrooms. Interiors include an indoor pool, a full entertaining bar in the finished lower level right near the movie theater, and lots of space for entertaining.

Sited on 5.5 acres, there’s also an outdoor pool, exterior living space, and creek frontage that leads directly into the iconic Georgica Pond.
