Jerome Robbins’ Oceanfront Hamptons Home is On the Market for $15M

Famed choreographer, theater director, and Oscar and Tony award-winner, Jerome Robbins, once lived at this oceanfront shingled estate in Bridgehampton. After he passed away in 1998, the property went into the hands of the Jerome Robbins Foundation. For the first time in 40 years, the shingled home is available for sale with an asking price of $15 million.

Over the course of his career, Robbins choreographed and directed numerous Broadway shows, including Fiddler on the Roof and The King and I.

The 1950s beach house is just 1,100 square feet and it needs some work, so there aren’t any interior shots available. But according to the listing, features include two bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, a wraparound deck, and a stone fireplace in the living room. The 1-acre property would allow for a structure up to 6,000 square feet if the new owners decided to expand or build a brand new home.

Outside, there’s a 118 feet of direct ocean frontage and a 45-foot pool.

Frank Newbold, Marilyn Clark and Martha S Murray from Sotheby’s International Realty represent the listing.
