Most Expensive Zip Codes…Sagaponack #2 in U.S.

The verdict is out on the country’s most expensive zip codes, according to PropertyShark, with several Hamptons zip codes among the top 100. Sagaponack may be one of the most unique and coveted places to own a home, and this year it jumped from #15 almost to the very top coming in a #2! The median price growth for a home in the 11962 zip code rose 95% since 2016, with median prices rising from $2.8 to $5.5 million. Five other Hamptons towns made the list this year…

Water Mill is #17 on the list with a median sale price of $2,862,500. Amagansett tied with Redwood City, California for #35 with a median sale price of $2.15 million. A median sale price of $1.925 million brings Bridgehampton to #46, while Wainscott came in at #48, tying with Venice, California, at $1.895 million being the median sale price. Quogue tied with several other California zip codes for #76 at $1.6 million, including Los Angeles, San Jose, Santa Monica, and two zip codes in San Francisco.
