DREW BARRYMORE SELLING
Drew Barrymore, one of our all-time favorite celebs here in the Hamptons, has just listed her Sagaponack estate. The actress and talk show host bought the nearly two-acre property back in 2019 for a reported $5.5 million. Of course, she proceeded to do an extensive renovation to her own discerning taste. The original barn of the main residence was built in 1920 and has undergone numerous changes over the past century. 

The nearly 7,000 square-foot home has soaring ceilings with seven bedrooms. A separate guest house, gunite pool, pool house and stunning landscape with specimen trees complete the exceptional compound. All of this is located less than a mile from the ocean in the bucolic fields of Sagaponack. Listed at $8,450,000 with Kathy Konzet of Sotheby’s International Realty. 

THAT WAS QUICK!
The Sag Harbor home of designer Bryan Graybill (featured in this magazine just last month) has gone into contract in record time. Listed at $14,950,000 with Erica Grossman of Douglas Elliman, the newly constructed property at 8 John Street, called Claxton House, was sure to go quickly due to its impeccable historical design and bulkheaded waterfront location directly on Sag Harbor Cove. The designer, Bryan Graybill, was a recipient of the prestigious Stanford White Award in 2021. “This is one of my all-time favorite homes that I’ve ever represented in the Hamptons. It’s truly a masterpiece of design by Bryan Graybill, and I felt fortunate to be a part of it,” Grossman told HRES.

GEORGICA GEM
A new listing in one of our favorite areas of East Hampton village — the Georgica Estate Section — has come to the market. This newly constructed traditional with a modern flair is designed to blend indoor and outdoor living with extensive covered terraces and balconies. Listed at $10,850,000 with Martha Gundersen and Paul Brennan of Douglas Elliman. “It is the embodiment of East Hampton Village architecture with all the amenities of modern convenient living. Designed by Brian Glasser, architect, built by Phil Kouffman builder, and curated and developed by Rob Zecher of Vault Development, it was a great success in its design and construction,” said Gundersen.

THE CAPRI REBORN
The Capri Hotel in Southampton has entered into a joint hospitality venture with Mayank Dwivedi, owner of the renowned Maidstone Hotel in East Hampton. The Capri is co-owned by celebrity attorneys Mark Geragos and Tina Glandian. In addition, a new restaurant, Ketchy Shuby, which also has an outpost in NYC, will be opening at the hotel. It’s the creation of Jamie Mulholland who bought the Surf Lodge. Brown Harris Stevens brokers Tony Cerio and Mitch Natter represented the Capri and had this to say: “The combination of Dwivedi/Geragos and Mulholland will without a doubt make the Capri the go-to place this upcoming season.” The Capri had been on the market at one point for $29 million.

HEAR THE OCEAN 
Nestled on a sprawling one-acre property in Southampton Village, this charming home is conveniently located near both Village shopping and the ocean. Constructed in 2001, 33 Christopher Street boasts nearly 5,700 square-feet spread over three floors.

Brown Harris Stevens recently welcomed Mark J. Policarpio. With 26 years of experience in sales and marketing across corporate and entrepreneurial settings, Mark has worked in five diverse industries, including real estate, finance, advertising, market research, and technology. For the past decade, he has focused on NYC real estate, handling both resale and new development projects.

Mark holds a degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and completed postgraduate studies in real estate development and financial analysis at New York University. 

Outside of work, Mark enjoys spending time on and around the water, having raced sailboats competitively and rowed on the Wharton Crew Team. When exploring the East End, he likes to embrace new experiences and appreciate the beauty surrounding us.

JB Andreassi has moved to Compass. A graduate of Dartmouth College and the Tuck Bridge School of Business program, he values both higher education and hands-on experience. His passion for the dual aspects of building and selling emerged after college. In his earlier career, JB spent four years at the National Hockey League, where he was part of the business development team responsible for managing tens of millions of dollars in corporate partnership assets. 

In 2019, JB returned to the Hamptons, where he is a principal in his family’s development company, Andreassi Development. JB’s prior sales record includes over 30 properties sold between $1,000,000 to $20,000,000, totaling $165M in sales between the Hamptons, New York City, and South Florida since 2020. He has also appeared on two real estate TV shows, Million Dollar Beach House on Netflix and Selling the Hamptons on Max.

He has recently expanded his reach to South Florida, where he oversees two development projects in Palm Beach and Delray Beach set to begin in mid to late 2024, with a strong team in place to handle sophisticated transactions.
