Southampton Atterbury Estate on the Market for a Discount

The century-old home at 199 Coopers Neck Lane in Southampton’s estate section is currently on the market for $12.95 million — which means the owners who purchased the property for $15 million will be selling it for a loss.

The owners are Alexander Jakowec and Michael Bruno; Bruno is the founder of 1stdibs, an online retailer for art and antiques. The couple bought the home in 2015 before putting it on the market for $18 million last year.

Designed by Grosvenor Atterbury in 1910, the spread includes a 14,000-square-foot mansion with 11 bedrooms and 12 baths over 3 acres of land. Right now the property does not include a pool nor a pool house, but there’s room for both plus a sunken tennis court.
