Beauty Guru Lists Southampton Estate for $38 Million

Adrien Arpel, the iconic beauty entrepreneur who made her name selling her products in department stores and on the Home Shopping Network, is selling her home on Meadow Lane in Southampton. Arpel has lived at 2020 Meadow Lane for the last 37 years, and built the current estate with her husband, Ronald Newman, back in 2002, according to the Wall Street Journal. 

The Mediterranean style estate offers 7,250 square feet of luxurious living space all set on 8 acres of oceanfront property. There is access to not only the Atlantic Ocean, but to Shinnecock Bay as well.

Since her husband died in 2015, Ms. Arpel has been thinking about buying a place in the South of France, where she has been spending more time each summer. She also keeps homes in Palm Beach and Manhattan.

“This house is too important and too wonderful to just sit here,” she said. “If someone else could have the great pleasure and all the parties, birthdays and anniversaries that we enjoyed here, it would be wonderful.
