Totally Renovated 19th Century Bridgehampton Cottage Finds a Buyer

This adorable shingled cottage at 206 Lumber Lane in Bridgehampton came on the market in January for $1.5 million, and after five months and one price cut later the home has found a buyer and is currently pending a sale. It was last on the market for $1.475 million.

Spanning 1,278 square feet in size on just over a quarter-acre of land, the interiors saw a total gut renovation back in 2015. Features include three bedrooms and three bathrooms, reclaimed wide-plank pine flooring, an eat-in kitchen with stainless steel appliances and marble countertops, and cathedral ceilings in the living room. During the renovations, new windows, doors, and central HVAC was installed, a new roof and siding was added, and the electric was updated.

Outside, there’s a heated gunite pool, a 450-square-foot pool house, and privacy hedging surrounding the property.

The house is a perfect low-maintenance option for those who want a simple East End retreat. New homeowners will be just a mile and a half from village shops and restaurants.

Todd Buchanan from Halstead Real Estate represented the sellers, who purchased the home in 2016 for $1.25 million according to Out East’s data.
