“Westhampton Beach is the first Hamptons village you come upon when driving east to the Hamptons. WHB is also the place I held my first real job, and my first home away from home. So, when it came time to interview Craig Amodemo, owner and broker of Hamptons Estates Realty, I wanted to be the one, because WHB has always been near and dear to my heart.”

HRES: As one of the more seasoned real estate brokerages in Westhampton Beach, what is it that sets you apart from the others?
CA: I’d say a combination of industry experience and agents who strongly believe in customer service. The fact that Hampton Estates Realty has all decision makers in the office means there is no wasted time. It’s a strong competitive advantage.

HRES: What is the most challenging aspect of being a real estate broker for you?
CA:Time management. It’s important to make time for both family and friends outside of work.

HRES: What is the best advice you can give a 2nd homebuyer when searching for a vacation home in the Westhampton Beach area?
CA: When you find a home that works for you, buy it. Good homes don’t last and buyers who wait months or even years are missing out on making memories.

HRES: Westhampton is a unique market, would you agree and why?
CA: Yes, all of the Hamptons have their own flavor. Westhampton is easily accessible, no traffic, a multitude of families, and world class beaches. We’re also in close proximity to the North Fork should somebody want to venture there for the day.

HRES: Can you tell us about one of your more notable sales?
CA: For the purchasers, they’re all notable….most have their share of challenges and all are rewarding.

HRES: What is the most personally satisfying part of your work?
CA: The relationships that carry on long after the sale is over.
