Thomas Davis of the Corcoran Group

Everyone has heard of or knows Tim Davis of The Corcoran Group – one of the top producing agents here in the Hamptons, but have you met Tim’s newest team member, Thomas P. Davis? Yes, I too thought they were related, but no, that is not the case – as it was luck that brought these two together. After a chance meeting in the fall of 2015,  Tim saw something in Thomas and decided he would make a great addition to his team.

HRES: Where did you grow up and what college did you graduate from?
TPD: I grew up on Eastern Long Island and attended SUNY Geneseo and graduated from Stony Brook University.

HRES: Why did you become a real estate agent?
TPD: My family has been involved in the business of stone sourcing for homes throughout the Hamptons for many years. I grew up spending time out here and always knew that I would somehow be connected to the real estate market in some way. I have a passion for architecture and love thinking of ways to improve homes and, at the same time, connecting people to these properties.

HRES: How did you come to start working with Tim Davis?
TPD: I met Tim while he was dining with his wife Susan at the American Hotel in Sag Harbor and found that there were synergies to our life path. After several meetings at the end of 2015, we decided to start working together.

HRES: What have you learned from the experience of working with Tim so far?
TPD: I’ve learned that this business is a lifestyle and not just a career. Business relationships are built over time and often take many years to nurture and bring to fruition. It was on the job training from the best in the business.

HRES: What are your expectations for the real estate market this coming summer?
TPD: We’ve already seen increased traffic and multiple positive energy all around the market. I believe that this will continue through the summer season and through the end of the year.

HRES: Please tell us about one of your current listings?
TPD: The location of 128 Surfside is supreme.The proximity to the immediate ocean access is unparalleled. One could really have fun designing and building a home on this site.

HRES: What’s the one thing you love most about the Hamptons?
TPD: It is the place where everyone from around the world wants to be. I get to call it my home all year round.
