The British Invasion Years
March 9, 8 pm

More than just The Beatles, this nostalgic musical tribute spans the entire 60s British Invasion era with music from BOTH sides of the Atlantic, and is three acts in one: The first act includes songs by iconic British groups such as The Zombies, Dave Clark Five, The Rolling Stones, The Hollies, Herman’s Hermits, Gerry and the Pacemakers, Manfred Mann and many others. 

The American Response follows, with music by such legendary artists as The Monkees, Simon & Garfunkel, The Beach Boys, The Mamas and The Papas, The Turtles, Paul Revere & The Raiders, to name just a few.

Tom Petty Tribute with Damn The Torpedoes
February 23, 8 pm

Rich Kubicz, who plays the role of Tom Petty in the show, has been playing guitar and singing since his early teens. By 2007, so many people had told him that he looked and sounded like Tom Petty that he decided to put together Damn The Torpedoes as a tribute to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Over the years Damn The Torpedoes has evolved with a deeper understanding of the Tom Petty catalog and more committed members. Bay Street Theater, www.baystreet.org

Concert for George
February 28, 7:30 pm

As part of their newly introduced series – Toasted Thursdays, the WHBPAC will hold a special screening of the iconic concert film Concert for George. On November 29, 2002, one year after the passing of George Harrison; Olivia Harrison and Eric Clapton organized a performance tribute in his honor. Held at London’s Royal Albert Hall, the momentous evening featured George’s songs, and music he loved, performed by artists including Clapton, Joe Brown, Dhani Harrison, Jools Holland, Jeff Lynne, Paul McCartney, Monty Python, Tom Petty, Billy Preston, Ravi & Anoushka Shankar, Ringo Starr and more. Anderson East

A potent, heartfelt fusion of soul, rhythm & blues, gospel, early rock & roll, and a dash of country, Anderson East has quickly carved a name for himself in today’s music scene. Lead Singer of The Moody Blues & Co-Founder of Wings: Denny Laine
March 2, 8 pm

As a premier English songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Denny is best known for his roles as the original guitarist and lead singer of THE MOODY BLUES from 1964 through 1966 and as the co-founder of WINGS with Paul McCartney. Denny was one of three constants in WINGS, along with Paul and Linda McCartney from 1971 through 1981. 81st Annual Guild Hall Artist Members Exhibition

For 81 years, Guild Hall Museum has reserved space in its exhibition schedule for the Annual Guild Hall Artist Members Exhibition. This is the oldest non-juried museum exhibition on Long Island and one of the few non-juried exhibitions still running. This community-centered exhibition is an opportunity to celebrate the artists who live and work here. The Annual Guild Hall Artist Member Exhibition has often been referred to as the opening of the Art Season on the East End.
