Bethenny Frankel Buys Second Hamptons Home

The Real Housewife of New York City, who is co-starring in a new real estate-based Bravo TV show, has purchased the historic Morning Glory House at 2623 Montauk Highway in Bridgehampton, which was once a bed and breakfast.

The new show, “Keeping It Real Estate,” http://www.bravotv.com/the-real-housewives-of-new-york-city/season-9/videos/get-your-first-look-at-bethenny-and-fredriks, which will premiere shortly, pits Frankel with Douglas Elliman’s Fredrik Eklund, who gained notoriety in the network’s program, “Million Dollar Listing New York.” The show has the duo actually investing their own moneys in properties.

Frankel closed on the 1910-built 7-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom residence in October. The home had undergone a major renovation by New York architect Brian O’Keefe of BOKA. The formal entry hall features dark, hardwood floors, skylight, hand-carved staircase and board and batten details.

Originally listed for $2.95 million, its last ask was $2.49 million. (The sale price is not yet available.) According to listing agent Kathleen Conway of Town & Country, the property can be turned back into a B&B with the right permits from Southampton Town.
