Seems that Sting has sold his posh penthouse at 15 Central Park West, the iconic “New Classical” building by Robert A. M. Stern according to Page Six. Not to worry, the former Police-man, who will collect a cool $50 million for the deal will be staying in the Big Apple. In fact, he and wife Trudy Styler will be switching to another Stern building, around the corner at 220 Central Park South.

The swank digs at numero 15 were custom designed by architect Lee Mindel of Shelton Mindel and include a dramatic standalone fireplace, 400 feet of terraces and to-die views of Central Park. The super power couple purchased the duplex for $27 million and listed it earlier this year for $56 M. He’s so happy he can’t stop.

We notice a surfboard hanging on a dining room wall. Dare we hope to spy the sexagenarian hunk hanging ten on the East End?
