Interior Designer Meredith Baer Staged Gorgeous Dressing Rooms for the 2020 Grammys

Interior designer and home stager Meredith Baer — who has offices not only here in the Hamptons, but in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, and Miami as well — staged gorgeous dressing rooms for A-list celebrities for this year’s Grammy Awards. This is the second year in a row that she’s worked for the Grammys. The designer staged rooms for celebrities such as Alicia Keys, Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Demi Lovato, John Legend, and Lizzo — some of the biggest names in music. Each design felt appropriate for the nominee that it represented. In particular, Billie Eilish’s room felt “young and rebellious, but still polished,” according to the designer’s team, who chose bright orange accent chairs against a fun rug and matte black furniture. Demi Lovato’s room, on the other hand, had zebra-pint accent benches and a jewel tone blue couch for the singer, whose rendition of the national anthem at this year’s Super Bowl garnered her praise across the board. Lizzo’s room was designed to mirror her “mix of femininity and power,” with cream hues, bold lines, and even a fuzzy ottoman. [Meredith Baer]

Greek Royalty Spend $16.5M on Southampton Village Estate

Southampton is no stranger to celebrity real estate purchases, but it looks like the village will have royalty for residents after the Crown Princess and Prince of Greece — Marie-Chantal Miller and her husband Pavlos, respectively — have just purchased a home on Great Plains Road in the south-of-the-highway part of town, reports The Real Deal. The house, which spans an incredible 13,000 square feet in size, offers 10 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, 10 fireplaces, a circular tower alcove, an outdoor deck, a saltwater pool, a pool house, and a tennis court. The 3.4-acre property was originally listed for $27 million when it went on the market over 10 years ago in 2009, but was most recently asking $19,995,000. The Crown Princess and Prince purchased the home from socialite Ulla Parker. Saunders real estate agent Djida Oppenheim represented the listing, while Andrea Ackerman of Brown Harris Stevens brought the buyer. [The Real Deal]

Stunning Southampton Modern Sells for $7M

The absolutely gorgeous Southampton village home at 131 Post Lane has sold for $7 million. The modern home — which was designed by John Cancheri and built by Phil Pape — spans 5,000 square feet with five bedrooms, five full baths, and two half-baths inside. Features include heated concrete floors, 18-foot ceilings in the dining room and kitchen, and a master suite with a private terrace, walk-in closets, and a private office. There’s also a finished lower level with a wine cellar and a gym, while outside the homeowners will enjoy an outdoor kitchen, a dining pavilion with a fireplace, a gunite pool and spa, and a pool cabana with a bathroom. The house was built in 2015 and listed for sale in September of 2018 for $8.95 million, which is what it was most recently listed for under Douglas Elliman agent Michaela Keszler.
