Matt Lauer Puts North Haven’s Strongheart Manor on the Market for $45M

After their divorce, former Today Show host Matt Lauer and his ex-wife Annette Roque have just listed their iconic North Haven property, Strongheart Manor, for $44.8 million, reports Behind the Hedges.

Lauer and Roque purchased the home for $36.5 million from actor Richard Gere in 2016, while Gere bought the early 20th century home in 2005 for just $6.9 million.

Originally built in 1902 for actor Robert Edeson, the renovated Strongheart Manor now features over 14,000 square feet of living space on 6.18 acres of land between three single and separate lots. The 6,550-square-foot main house hosts six bedrooms, seven baths, and a screened-in porch. Other buildings on the compound include a two-bed, two-bath guest cottage, and an additional guest house with another four bedrooms. The property has 300 feet of water frontage on the Shelter Island Sound, a 140-foot deep-water dock, a heated gunite pool, an outdoor fireplace, and room for a tennis court.

In 1998, Strongheart Manor was named a historical landmark.

Bespoke Real Estate represents the listing.
