Spooky No More

We hope.

In a widely publicized case, dashing investment banker Ted Ammon was found beaten to death in an upstairs bedroom in 2001. He was in the midst of a bitter divorce with his wife, Generosa, but failed to change his will before his death. She inherited his estate valued at $97 million.

Generosa’s lover, the very downmarket Daniel Pelosi (an unlicensed electrician), was convicted of the murder. He is incarcerated at Attica prison and will be eligible for parole at age 67 in 2031.

After Generosa’s death from cancer in 2004, the house fell to the twins the Ammons had adopted from Ukraine, who were 10 at the time of the murder. The beauty of the house on Middle Lane, which features a solarium, library, gym, heated pool and pool house, transcends the brutality that took place there.

The twins closed on the property on November 30. It was listed last spring at $12.7 million. Town and Country had the listing. Let’s finally say goodbye to a very sad chapter in Hamptons real estate history.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”normal”][vc_single_image image=”21076″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_separator type=”normal”][vc_single_image image=”21077″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_separator type=”normal”][vc_single_image image=”21078″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_separator type=”normal”][vc_single_image image=”21079″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_separator type=”normal”][vc_single_image image=”21080″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_separator type=”normal”][vc_single_image image=”21081″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_separator type=”normal”][vc_single_image image=”21082″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_separator type=”normal”][vc_single_image image=”21083″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_separator type=”normal”][vc_column_text]Photos courtesy Town & Country Real Estate[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
